Adventure for Good is based in the spectacular Bay of Islands – a micro-region in New Zealand’s far north region encompassing more than 140 subtropical islands. The area is a hub for adventurous outdoor pursuits, and is known for its abundant marine life, unspoiled white sand beaches, dense native forest and Maori cultural heritage.
Our Adventure Centre is base camp for the Masterclass in Adventure and Adventure Academy programmes. The site offers world class aesthetics, direct access to the ocean, and custodianship of an extensive area of wild and virtually untouched native bush.
The centre’s modern lodgings are set amongst vineyards, with expansive ocean views over the Bay of Islands. The live-in education centre is fully equipped with comfortable accommodation, kitchen and bathroom facilities. The centre incorporates progressive energy and water systems and vegetable gardens, allowing us to maximise self-sufficiency and minimise our effect on the environment.
We also support other local accommodation businesses to provide lodging for our short courses when our Adventure Centre is not available.
